Southern Oregon has been getting hammered with snow as of late. I dropped everything to go shoot on Monday morning, it was a spectacular winter wonderland and I just couldn't resist.
Getting two birds sharp in one frame is always difficult for me. I would crop this a bit tighter, but it was taken w/ my old 10D and I always feel like there is no point in cropping too much when you don't have enough spare pixels to make a nice print.
Canon 10D, 300mm2.8 +1.4 extender, monopod....slight crop all the way round
    f6.7@1/750, ISO 400, no flash
    Thanks for looking.

Lovely pair and interesting perch. It looks a little dark on my monitor, maybe lifting it in curves?

Nice shot of this pair of sparrows. I agree that's it's just a little dark. I hope you don't mind, I've attached an adjusted copy. Taking what you have here, adding a Curves layer with a slight S curve, and then adding a Levels layer bringing the center point to the left a bit. This edit might be a little over the top, but just a quick demo.

Very sweet image - agree with lightening a bit. Blake's post brings out the colours nicely
