you guys have enticed me to download topaz adjust. so i went and found this plain jane old picture of hardly nothing and played around with it. topaz adjust, then solarize. dropped it in capture nx2 and adjusted the light and contrast. did a little burning with color control points and actually sharpened it. made a difference!!!

thanks for looking. comments and critiques appreciated. hey guys, this is out of the box. if i am misunderstanding it let me know, please. i'm just having fun!

Box, what box? This is great, I like it a lot. Hey, if you can't have fun, what can you have? I have also discovered that a bit of sharpening really sets these images off nicely.

Harold, Try anything and everything!! I'm glad you tried out the Topaz-do like the effect on the lower vegetation. The sky is great! I like everything but two little clumps-(one straight back and one on left edge)I'd clone them if it were mine-Good job on this you are really stepping out of your comfort zone lately and I think it's great!!!Almost forgot I love the lavender color in there!! Thanks for the sharpening tip will try it!!

Alice in Wonderland meets Topaz Adjust. Looks like a scary place. The colour scheme is other-wordly. Like it Harold:)

Harold, Ya those and the one branch in the center of frame-not deal killers but maybe worth the clean-up before print!!
