Does anyone know of a quiet location to photograph sea birds (shorebirds, gulls, terns, pelicans) in the Boca Raton/ Boynton Beach/Palm Beach Gardens area?
Jen Most inlets and marinas will have pelicans/gulls but not sure about the quiet part, weekdays should be fine. The other guys will be up and down the beach.
Interesting that people on the beach make the birds tame for photographers ... if we were the only ones around you probably need an 800 with extenders :) I'm sure someone form the area will give you specifics.
hi jen. i was by boynton inlet over the weekend. there were a few gulls around, but that was all i saw. of course, it was full of people. i have much better luck on weekday afternoons. usually a few more species around then.
