Have you ever had one these silly birds on your viewfinder only to take a pic of the sky as they drop unexpectedly and leave you wondering what happened? This time the odds were in my favor and I was able to catch the maneuver.

Well captured Fabs. Yes, I had two or three Cattle Egrets do this on me on Saturday. I was too slow. :D

Great pose and light. Thanks for sharing.

Great capture Fabs. The colors are nice and clearly separated on this tri-colored. I like the pose too.

Very cool capture of this 'falling out of the sky' pose. I also like eye contact and BG. Interesting to see that the neck looks a bit greenish in this light.

    Lucky you!

A bullet falling from the sky!
Great eye contact and wing spread pose. Colors are spot on.

Very interesting pose captured, that lifts this shot above the crowd. i enjoy the diagonal comp and colour combinations. Good feather detail. If I had to nit pick there is a bit a halo starting to show below the birds neck and infront of the wings.
    Moment well captured.

A shot in a million Fabs. Brilliant posture, love the angle, detail across the wings, and love the colour on the head and neck. Superb capture.

    Hi Fabs!

Really enjoy looking at this beautiful image. I like the pastel colors and it seems to move with the action in the image. Great pose!

As you say, the odds really were in your favor! But I think we all know it was more than just being lucky. A fantastic photo, Fabs.
