love the pose and the compo. another round of sharpening on the eye and the bird will look good. only distracting element is the oof branch entering the birds left side. you may tone down the perch a little also. i think you did real well in some rather harsh light.

I like the close up pose with the direct in your face look...the head angle and eye contact are superb the color rendition is very good, Love the feel on this one...congrats...looking forward to more...:cool:
