Snowy Owl with Prey evening light

Evening image of Snowy Owl photographed February in Quebec Canada. With the evening sun peeking through some clouds, the prey / talons were lighted at this moment (as if I had any control of it!!!).

Thank you for looking, and your suggestions are always appreciated.

Amazing light and colours captured here Brian, and very well timed to show the outstretched talons. Congrats.

Pretty cool how the sun peaked through to spot light the critical part of the image. Was this baited?

Excellent light Brian. Love the capture! (poor mouse, I know I am a softie)

If you have cropped anything off the left, I would be inclined to leave a touch more spave past the wingtips.

    Congrats. :)

Very nice catch. I assume it was baited, although you make no mention of the circumstances.
The image had a magenta cast, corrected here, but you were the one there and who know what it looked like then :)

Fabs, he does say baited, directly under the shutter speed 1/3200. :) He caught Artie out too before. I think baited perhaps should be in the title? Never mind, still a powerful image in its right.

Great capture Brian and you captured the moment well with great lighting too. I agree with Fabs, some magenta cast.

    Appreciate all the feedback.

Thank you for the repost and for taking out the cast Fabs. Yes, as was mentioned, a baited situation.
