    Hi everyone. My name is Dario and I come from Italy, this is my 1st post here and I have to say this is the best forum about nature photographers and bird photographers, I hope to learn much from you...:)

    Hi Dario. There are a lot of things to like about this image, especially if they are there on purpose. It has a dreamy look to it.

    It seems that the point of focus is on the birds back rather than the head. There is also a halo around the head that looks like something I would get by trying to cut the subject out, blur the background and then past the subject back in with a feathered selection.

    In some images, that halo really works for the dreamy effect. If it is not what you are going for, then it should be eliminated.
