    Default Kickboxing Coots

Photographed in Oct'07 at the Los Gatos County Park in the San Francisco bay area. I have a whole series of those two going after each other. Unfortunately, in this particular shot the area around the eyes are a bit dark but it shows the feet most dramatically.

Anyway, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, JR

I'm sure you can bring out the eyes with shadow /highlight or curves adjustments. Coot feet are REALLY cool subjects. I like close ups of them. They are certainly captured dramatically here.

Great behavior shot. Maybe a bit CW rotation and I'm not sure about the 'judge' in the BG. :)

Thank you for the feedback! I guess the "judge" in the background was really the reason for the commotion (female?). I remember that all coots were very aggressive that day but only those two took it into the ring. JR
