    Default Lesser Prairie Chicken

A member of the grouse family, these guys are great fun to photograph when they are on the lek. The white tail feathers look a little hot on my screen, but the histogram is fine.

    David:

Amazing color on the head. Sharp, well exposed, although the tail feathers as mentioned do look hot.

    Nice bokeh.

If you have it, a bit more room, esp in front, a bit on top, would work well for me.

Thanks for sharing this turbo charged chicken :):)

Nice detail throughout but especially on that yellow head and eye. BG looks good and he gave you a nice pose.

What a great looking bird. Great colors and detail. I agree with Randy that a little more room in front and on top would improve the feel for me. Keep them coming.

I would agree with the above comments, but would also add that the image would be even stronger with the bird facing the other direction. That would eliminate the shadows on the tail, breast, and part of the face and also darken the "hot" whites on the rump. :)
