I like this species, and I like that we can see both parents at the nest - which seems to be quite massive! Although the see-through flight feathers look cool the light angle was not to your advantage for the overall look of this scene...did you have an easy way to get to the other side to get the sun behind your back?

P.S. The exif is indeed intact and I can view it on an exif reader, but not everyone can therefore it is best to include it with your post ;-)

    Thanks Daniel,

That was my first time to the location of this nest. It was on a pole right beside what use to be a ferry crossing to the lake/river. This was shot in the morning so I learned to get my best light I need to go back in the evening while the sun will be to my back. I plan another trip back to the nest in mid to late May after the eggs are hatched so I can watch both parents feed the young. The area I was shooting in I was out on a point with water to my back, side and front facing the nest. I had hoped to gotten some shots of one or both parents fishing but that day it just didn't happen. Look for more photos to come with better lighting as now I know what time of day to shoot this nest.
I will provide exif when I get back home and on my computer tonight.

Thanks James for the insight, I'm looking forward to the images you'll capture when the young ones are hatched!! You can consider this one as part of a "scouting trip" of the area :-)
