    Default Snails

During a walk, I saw snails stuck on tree trunks in many places (temporary resting/hibernation... dunno what exactly was happening with them). In one place I noticed a small one just next to a big guy.

    Techs:
Nikon D300, Nikkor 105mm VR micro, tripod
    f/16, 1/8, ISO200
Used an external flash to throw some light on the edge

    Critiques welcome...

Really nice composition and colors. The BG is beautiful and compliments your snails well.

    Hi Kaushik,
I like the composition, image and capture. The golor rendition is very good. I like the earth tones and the vertical crop. Well done...

Beautiful image, Kaushik. Any idea what that tiny white spot is under the larger snail? Is it his slime trail or something else? That might be my only thought is to consider cloning that out but that would depend on what it is.

Very nice composition, Kaushik. And the colors just work together perfectly. The background is a dream. Great job, as always.

    Thank you all.

@ Julie: Sharp eye ! I have no idea as to what the bright spot could be. I cloned it out and am attaching the image.

Not bad for a woman with 20/400 vision, eh? :D It's lovely either way but this makes it even better.

Hey Kaushik, I feel like I can almost touch those snails!

    Amazing sharpness and great subjects.
