    Default Egret Confrontation 2

I would not normally post 2 photos from a series, but having taken note of the comments made on my previous shot I thought that I should post this one. I believe it addresses the head angle and crop comments.

    All comments welcome

Great interaction and good details. I would give it more room, especially at the top.

I prefer the fighting pose and head angles on this version. I love how the bill of one bird is holding on to the other's feathers. I also love how all four feet are visible. I agree more room would be great, and I find the dark splashing water at very bottom distracting, you could crop it away or preferably eliminate it via QM, clone, and patch tools (if you are OK with this type of image manipulation).

These guys really look cross with each other, and you have timed the midair confrontation perfectly Dave. Lovely detail, and exposure, and would maybe give a bit more room top right.

Absolutely wonderful interaction shot! I like this version much better, mostly because you can see both of their eyes. I agree it could use more room at the top and I like the splash - the only part I would remove, either by cropping or cloning, is the very bright reflection at the top of the bulge at the water's surface.

Thanks for all the comments they are appreciated and noted.
Daniel a bit too much manipulation for me but I must agree with Dean on the bright spot. I agree with all on the more room.
PS a bit of canvas already added above the birds shoul have added a tad more.
