I decided to stay home this morning and was rewarded with this bird at my back yard.

    Adams:

A lovely bird, sharp, well exposed, nice head angle, seed is a plus. The background is remarkably uniform. I am curious what is back there? I might crop up to just above your sig line, but that is just personal preference

Thanks for sharing. We are lucky to see one or two per hear here in Michigan, so its a pleasure to see these fellows.

    Cheers

Great colors, love the BG and the fanned tail. Also, like that it is feeding! Congrats, nice bird in the backyard mate. :)

Adams your home is a glod mine for a bird photographer :-D Superb composition, colors and BG. The eye contact is fantastic. I think that the image needs a small contrast boosting but you have a keeper for sure ;-)

Great pose, angle and BG, I particularly like the fanned tail. Another vote for more contrast and/or midtone adjustment.

Overall good image. Good clarity and resolution; although, I might do some selective sharpening in the head and extend into the nape and mantle area. All else is very good. ;-)

The fanned tails really makes the shot along with the colour of the bird. A bit more room at the tail would have been nice and a slight adjustment of contrast. Very nice.
