Same Railroad Museum but different technique for capturing the image. Traditional HDRs will give you the tones/range at the expense of not being as sharp and having funky colors. For this one I made one exposure for the inside with fill flash and one for the outside ambient light. Combined the two for the final image.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

The color rendition is superb, it has a rich deep glow to the tonal range...well done Mr. Forns...I have to make it a point in visiting this place...very nice...

It looks as if they put quite a bit of expensive wood in these trains.

    Alfred,

These are some pretty cool shots. Do you have any that you have done using both HDR and fill flash ? It would be interesting to see a side by side comparison.

    God bless,

No from the same one Chris but they look dramatically different in color and sharpness.

Al, I like these shots and you are using an architectural photography technique that I am familiar with. This gives you a wonderfully balanced and even illumination. Very nice!

i'm loving the series, al!! these are awesome. really neat to see the difference between blending and HDR. they both have their place, but blending wins here!!

Al, check out this link to Shorpy (a vintage photo site). Scroll down to see the rail cars.
