Very nice perch and a gorgeous background of the Arizona State Bird.

Great BG, nice symmetry between the angle of the bird and the perch, detail, color, and open beak all are top notch. Nice image.

Superb singing pose Charlie, superb BG and sharpness. The perch is really nice and, regarding the composition, I miss more room at the bottom and less at the top. Very cool bird, BTW

I wish it was wearing boots to protect those little feet! :D Nah, seriously I only wish the head angle was a bit more towards you, just a touch. But your BG is perfect as is the singing action and exposure. Congrats!

Very nice image. The sharpness is quite ok. Love the pose of the bird as well.
From composition point of view a bit of crop from the left would improve I guess and I would also add a gently contrast.

Pin, pin sharp, with excellent exposure. He really stands out against an amazing OOF BG. Congrats.

Great details, perch, BG, angle and the open beak adds to it. If anything, I would put the bird a bit further to the left and a bit higher in the frame.

I'm familiar with this bird. Have lots of them in California. The cactus is so typical of this bird. Did you come accross any of the nests? They are amazing. The image is very good. Fanned tail is a plus. Agree that the bird should be placed up in the frame a bit more. Well done.
