    Took this in Chile last year. Did a 3HDR in photomatix. NR in Topaz Denoise and then a simplify effect. This is volcanic rock, and you can see a volcano in the BG. Lighting was harsh so had to do a S/H and cloned out a small rock at the bottom of the frame, otherwise FF.

    Hi Jackie. Nice falls and the effect you created has given it a painterly look. I like the foreground clump and the LL created bringing you out to the falls.The color of the water gives a nice contrast also. One suggestion...I might crop the image down from the top a little over an inch above the volcano peak. Right now there is alot of neg space above it and the volcano is minimalized. By cropping the neg space the volcano becomes more dominant...See if you like it...

    the treatment here is absolutely fantastic!! while agree with dave's comments about having so much negative space, i like the compo as is. maybe some nice clouds above would have made a difference?

    I like the composition as presented...I like the color rendition and the soft texture presented...:cool:
