The light is a bit harsh to my taste but the head turn, eye contact and sharpness are outstanding. Very nice BG too.

Light harsh as stated before, but you did well in capturing this. The BG tho, has some banding to it. Was the BG blurred?

Thanks for the comments. The background was not blurred. The background is a lake on a windy day, which causes the banding from interrupted reflections and wave peaks alternately.

LIght is a bit strong, but all other elements incl.HA are super. Love the feather sheen, BG and eye contact! Congrats! :)
