Another one of a Nuthatch but this time in a unfamiliar position right side up all the rest of the photos i have of White Breasted Nuthatch's are upside down.

    Hi Glenn,
The top left white patch is a bit distracting and the bird has very little/ no catch light in the eye. Other than that this picture works for me. Probably a bit of photo shop would have helped the image here.

You must have heard of the HAP by now? :)

I agree that white patch of clouds there don't really add anything to the photo. Look like the photo has a blue cast, too, probably because most of the bird was not under direct sunlight? Sharpness and details look good to me.

Agree on the strong blue cast !! I like how you gave it a little more room up front .. remember ha !!

Just balanced quickly ... still see something on the clouds !!

Atanumonda im still working on the catch light thing, the white patch thing is a added cloud in CS3 that can be easily removed . Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Desmond i C what you mean by blue cast ,it sometimes happens when i use the save for web in CS3 and should be easy to fix thanks for bringing it up :)

Thanks for the reedo Alfred and yes i will try and pay more attention to HA :)

    Hi Glenn,
I like the capture, I like these little guys...all techs have been addressed, Mr. Forns' repost with the color correction is a definite improvement...the cloud does not bother me...:) My recommendation for the next time is to watch the head angle on these little guys, I know that they are quick to move, but you have to be patient and be ready for that split second to depress the shutter...good show, looking forward to your next one....
