    View of Dunes at Death Valley about 7am. Used Nik tonal contrast filter than applied silver efex to convert to B&W.
    A 2 stop split ND was applied Tripod mtd.

    Dave, I love the composition. The sand curving around and the great pattern at the base.Very nice.I like silver efex and think the conversion looks good.

    Very nice composition Dave and love the texture in the sand. You get drawn from the front of the image right to the back. The cloud in the back is just perfect, a little bit off-center. Nice flow and I like it in black and white.

    Light, form, texture ... this shot has it all. Very nice composition.

    Maybe boost the highlights, especially along that sharply defined edge?

    dave, i visited an ansel adams exhibit yesterday and david's repost looks just like one of the prints. it has a nice tonal range. one thing i noticed about all of ansel's work....tack sharp!!! from edge to edge!
