    Its great to have, a few sunny days in a row...no snow on the ground, open water and dry trails..this photo taken at a local spot, where birds are somewhat, accustomed to people. This allowed me to get quite close to this guy, soft light coming through the trees....background not the best

    Good light and compo, Paul The bird looks a little soft on my end and I'd soften the middle branch by blurring it some.

    I like the head angle and eye contact and would sharpen the bird a bit more. The branch crossing the head is a bit distracting.
