    My very favorite tulips in the whole wide world bloomed in my yard yesterday. I cut them and started making images and they are sweet, sweet, sweet!

    Canon 40D, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM, possibly an extension tube or two...can't remember.
    f 7.1 @ 1/100, ISO 200
    Manual mode, Sunny WB, pattern metering
    Handheld, outdoor lighting
    Processed in ACR & CS4; levels adjustment, desaturated the yellows a bit, and small crop.

    Terrific composition that would be stringer without the top 1 inch.
