    Default The symbol of freedom?




    My only wish was for better light and a nicer sky but a pose I've been after for some time. This is the female of the pair I've been following since March 2008 as she dried out from a soaking the night before as she sheltered the three Eaglets in the nest.

    Oh man, the biggest problem I have is that branch lying right behind the head of the eagle...I mean, sharpness, details and colors look good. Would be even better if the eagle is looking at you but it's not the law that the eagles have to look at the camera so... :D

    Thank you Desmond for the critique. I take what I can get with this pair of Eagles and they nest in well....woods. As far as the eye contact....maybe a slight head turn towards me would have been nice but a straight on stare they tend to look goofy to me :D....not what I was after in this image. She was more worried about the pack of Crows circling the nest. ;)

    I appreciate you taking the time viewing and offering your thoughts on the image.
