    Default Osprey + dinner

I caught a shot of this Osprey as he was bringing dinner home to the nest

    Cayo Costa, FL
    Canon 20D + 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x
I shot in Av mode at f/4 ISO 100...don't recall the shutter speed

I've considered removing the branch on the right, but went with the natural look instead.

Beautiful catch Scott and nice timing. I like the image composition showing the environment but find the crop very tight and the sky seems to be over saturated. I would also consider cloning out the branch in front of the osprey as it is a bit distracting. Many thanks for sharing.

Excellent capture. I love the prey item. It would be great if the angle was less steep - but I realize this was almost certainly not possible.

    Hello Scott,

Very nice capture. I think you should clone out the tree in front of the Osprey. The sky looks so vivid, almost looks like you pasted the whole image on top of it :). Next time try posting your images at pixels.

    Thanks!

I agree with the comments made, but it is a good capture despite the harsh sunlight.
