Glad to see your efforts were so well rewarded!

I'm seeing a pretty significant red cast.
I've attached my quick and dirty attempt to correct it to better illustrate what I mean.
Also added a bit of contrast. See what you think.

On this site i do see a cast but in photoshop and on lightrom there is none Sometimes I have problems with this site when i post and it was converted to srgb

OK I think I found my problem My preferences in CS3 got changed back to default so I was view under CMYK conditions

Just always check your gear as it usually is something set up wrong

This is a nice image. I would do something about the diagonal stick below the owl as it draws my attention from the wonderful subject. Like the trunk on the left and the bird's look. Congratulations John. :)

Nice job John. I was hoping to get to Durham but always picked the wrong weather day. Almost "Osprey Time"!!! Hope to see you a D. Mills in May. Bob

Very nice reposts and I also saw the red cast. I like the composition and think Akos suggestion for softening the diagonal branch very sound.

As said, the repost looks great. The diagonal stick doesn't bother me but I would probably blur (maybe remove) the horizontal stick at the bottom

Great sighting, and what a lovely looking species. I feel the original does have a red cast, but not knowing the owl species cant comment on the colours in the repost.
