    I would reduce the lightness of the perch, apply a little NR to the BG and ease the sharpening on the bird. Maybe that is why there appears to be a slight bit of noise introduced into the BG in the first place. I like the pose and intent look in your bird. Congrats! :)

    Very nice pose and head angle. The pupil loos sort of odd and the breast should have more red, at least the ones we see here. Another round of noise reduction will be good.

    A great sighting Scott, as you dont normally see these guys in the open. I agree with Akos that this is slightly over sharpened, and a NR and toning down of the perch would enhance this further.
