This four plane image caught my eye. the foreground, sloping alluvial plane, snow covered Sierras and the crown of angry clouds. I cropped a bit of the sky out to make it more panoramic and strengthen the feeling.

    Hey Steve,
Nice representation of the plain. I do like the layers and colors and minimizing the clouds was a nice move. I am a little bothered by the middle ground rock as it seems to block the flow through the image. If you get a chance.....post it at a bit bigger size as at 600 pixels on the long dimension......tough to see some of the finer details. Nice colors and mood otherwise.

    Steve,

I can see what attracted you, the image has nice depth. Agree with Roman here on that MG rock - it does grab the eye. Moving around would have been the first option, cloning it out if you wish you second.

Very unique perspective Steve. Like the pano crop as it really accentuates the foreground. The middle ground rock doesn't interfere with anything IMO. Nice image.
