    Did a cut-out, poster edge, and watercolour. Different blending modes for the colours. Lastly put it through a vivid chrome effect in Photo Kit. Full Frame.

    Original shot, does anyone know what kind of tree this is. I took this is South America, but have seen them up here too.

    Hi Jacki..I don't know the name but I saw this same tree in Provence and loved the bark. I did photograph it also. I like the effects you applied. Nice graphic rendition.

    Hi Jackie. Nice effect applied to the bark! This looks like a sycamore tree to me. We have lots of these around in California. Birds love them.

    the plant id course was a long time ago. i used to know what it is. may have to check old textbooks.

    the treatment really sparked this one up! i like it!!!

    Its a South American Giant Green Leafy Leafydendrum Jackie ... very common down there :)

    Sweet PS work Wouldn't have thought of punching it up like that but sure looks good ... and the touch of green complements in a big way !!! Excellent !!!

    American Sycamore(platanas occidentalis) http://www.duke.edu/~cwcook/trees/ploc.html I have lots of pictures of birds in these trees from Sycamore Canyon. :)
