    Shot this at Bodie ghost town awhile back. Used a D200, 24-120 Wide Angle, natural light, tripod mtd.
    Does that little wood square on the bottom right of the blade bother anyone?

    Dave, Nice composition, the wood grain and textures look good. I like the blue saw blade. It has an aged look to it. The small piece of wood goes with the rustic feel of the piece and doesn't bother me.

    doesnt bother me a bit, dave. i like the range of tones shown in the wood. might be interesting to convert the bg to b&w or sepia leaving the blade blue? just a thought!

    Me too! The wood had such rich tones in the original. But it was a good idea worth exploring.

    Like the orig better too Dave with the complimentary colours. (The wood looks orange to me) Great framing and textures. You also brought out the colours really well.
