    This is one of the Mayan Ruins in Play Del Carmen, Mexico in the lower Yucatan peninsula...:cool:

    Gus those things were well built Still look good !! Originally they were smooth and painted At Chitchinitza there is room painted (not open) Have seen pictures and its stunning !!!

    Great image, Gus! It amazes me to think about how little of our modern civilization would remain in a few hundred years, much less the ages of these Mayan ruins and the ancient cities I recently photographed in Turkey. I've been to Chitchinitza, but never made it to Playa del Carmen.
