    Denise, I love the light and dark areas in this image! You've got tonal range all over the place and it's lovely. Only suggestion I can think of would be to decide if the blue dot at the top of the frame is adding or subtracting to the image.

    Julie, I know what you mean I wasn't sure what to do it was part of the flower and I felt it should be included although I did contemplate eviction.

    I like the comp. I didn't notice the blue. The purple kind of pulled my eyes away.

    Love the color combo here, Denise. I am wondering about a bit more dof? But that may be another of those trade-off things.

    I agree with Jules/ Beautiful colors; great capture of the curves of this flower; I like the shallow DOF. Nicely composed.
