    Beautiful heron Alex.
    Lovely light, open wings and beak. My only suggestion would be to apply more USM to the bird since it looks a bit soft. Overall a great image!

    What beautiful colors, with good wings position too. I wish you had taken it a second before he took the turn away from you. The BG is exquisite and makes the bitd really stand out. Congratulations. I may sharpen just the eye, I can live with the reset as is :)

    Superb landing pose of this purple. Great BG and the opened bill is a nice bonus.

    What sweet light! Great colors and details with a pleasing background. I think the open beak is a plus. Fabs has a good observation on the turn and perhaps working on the eye (a little). Very nice as presented. Congratulations on a fine image. Thanks for sharing
