Crested Lark

Hi to all,
after weeks and weekends full of work, I hope, that I will have more time for the BPN now... :)
And I start my "comeback" ;) with this image of a crested Lark, that I made yesterday.

I made the image with
Mark III / Canon 500mm + 1.7 TC
f 10 / 1/1000 sec / ISO 500

Very nice fluffy bird and the open bill a plus. Perfect BG, and not the ideal perch. I think it could go a little warmer?

Great pose! Good exposure and details. I love the fully feathers. Good eye contact. The open beak is a plus. You couldn't ask for a better background. A better perch would have put this over the top. Thanks for sharing
