Apologies for not commenting. My internet connection has been down since the weekend.

This was taken at the sewerage works outside Cape Town. It is the host of many birds, including flamingo's, gulls, shoveller's, and of course Pelicans. This was shot as the sun was rising, thus showing the sweet light colours.

Stuart, I really like the lighting and how sharp this is. The splash tells the story. One thing: The torn portion of that primary feather allows the neck to show through. It is a bit distracting to my eye and could be easily cloned into a complete feather. Still, great shot!

Nice and sharp with beautiful light and good BG. Only wish for the wings to be in the up or down position.
Thanks for sharing this one, Stuart.

Great light and action. My only wish is that the wings were at a different position.
