    Default Female Common Eider

The male Eider gets lots of my attention with the gals looking rather bland swimming along. But when the light is right the gals sure look good. 1DMk3 on 500 f4 at 400 iso, 1/1250 at f7.1, manual exp., AIservo - Bob

Nice exposure, and good light you had. I like the fact the eider is swimming towards us. There is too much empty space at bottom, plus the dark wavelet down there is distracting therefore cropping below would serve double duty :-) You could also add a bit above and right too. Well done!

One good looking bird in good light. Sharp with good details. I agree with Daniel on his suggestions on cropping and adding room. Thanks for sharing

Ditto on what Daniel has said.

Dan has beaten me to the cropping suggestion. Lovely light and colours.
