    hi scott, i dont think there is enough connection with your bird. more eye contact would have been nice. a lower perspective and some softer light might have helped also. the raised foot is a nice bonus!!

    Nice light and exposure. The preening images looks best when the eye is parallel to the sensor. I feel it is a little tight at the bottom, cutting the virtual foot.

    Exposure looks good. Would like to see a little more eye contact.

    Yes, a better head angle and more room at bottom are the two biggest factors to improve on here. Exposure and light look good.
