There was so much dust on the bud, I decided not to clone it all out

Lovely image Adrian. Love that purplish/blue central portion. A beautiful looking bud this is...
Am a bit undecided on the edges though.

Thanks for the comment, Kaushik. I am also undecided about the edges. Should I crop more off the sides and go for a square crop? I was reluctant to do so, because I dislike squarish crops, but now I think it might look better.

    Hi Aidan,
I like the composition, but I feel that it should be cropped tighter in frame...I increased the saturation and contrast levels just a tad, and ran a low intensity level of noise reduction...see if this presents best to you...

Hi Gus, I like your repost, however I am reluctant to crop it any tighter because this image is already a large crop (less than 20% of original)

I agree with you, this would be the maximum crop factor for this composition...

Me...I'd go out instead of in. I think if all sides fell away equally it would add another dimension to the image. If not, I'd back off just a bit to include the first full later outside the blue center (some of it is pretty close to the frame and could use a bit more room.)

Hey Aidan, I like the original crop. Nice contrast with the blue against the muted color. Good details.

I really like this image - looks a lot like the iris of the eye when seen with a microscope.
