Lovely pose and head turn David. A little more canvas on the right and a tad less on the left would off center the anhinga. Curves or S/H might bring a bit more detail in the blacks. Very nice eye contact in this capture. Thanks for sharing.

I like the pose. I would definitely try and bring out more detail in the blacks. My personal preference would be to desaturate the blue a bit. I would also try and see if I could liven up the eye a bit to bring out the color more.
