Image made in Flamingo area of Everglades NP. This Osprey couple had 2 chicks in the nest.
1DMK2 with 500 f4 and 2X TC. Evaluative metering @ ISO 640 with AV mode and EV +1; f 9 and 1/1000. This is full frame vertically with a small crop from the right. The right face of the right hand osprey was dodged using a screen layer. I was gong to do more, but I began to lose detail.

I like the poses and details. The light looks a bit harsh and I would tone down the highlights. I would crop more off the right and add canvas on the left.
Good expression in their eyes and definition. Agree on the harsh light, some reverse curves will help there and I'd like them to be placed to the right of the frame, looking into the picture. Keep them coming!
