    One of my favorites this year was the close encounter with this fore Holland rear species.

    Stunning shot! Great powerfull look on the bird face, lovley level of detail, great colors, BG, comp and light. Congratulations!

    Very nice. I love owls and am jealous. The composition work for me. The face and eye are sharp with good details. I do however agree with Akos in wishing that the light was more even on the face. If the were mine I would try and either lighten/brighten up the right eye to closely match the left eye. Well done and thanks for sharing.

    I have spent a fair amount of time photographing shortears this past season. This image is excellent, the sharpness of the feather and feather detail in the face along with the soft body feathers is just how these birds look. Well done.

    This is a beautiful image of one of my favorite owls. The colors are magnificient as is the sharpness of the face...and the softness of the breast. In a perfect world, the light would be more even....but I really like this one as is. Well done.
