    Default Viera's Juvenile Crested Caracara

On Sunday the two juveniles came down to our level to play and feed. This is one of the images that I was fortunate to get. It was taken with the D300, Nikon 70-300VR, f8, iso 640, 1/1000. Comments appreciated as always:).

Very nicely done, Nancy, they are growing fast. It takes them about two years to get the color of the adults. I see you got clouds, which is the only way to go with them, because they don't like sun in their eyes ;) They perch against the sun, the rascals.

    Hope to see you soon,

    Fabs

I like the details, inquisitive look and the setting works well, too. It would have been nice to see the other foot.
