    Tall, Upright and Alert!

Had a nice time at the Nagarhole National Park where I had shot this snap of a Crested Serpent Eagle (Spilornis cheela).
    Used Canon 600mm F4 IS lens on a 40D body @ F/5.6 and ISO 400.

The chap was sitting at least 3-4 meters above my eye level - got a hint of the forest in the BG - revealing its habitat.

Suggestions, Criticism and comments are most welcome!

Very sharp image and I like the fact that the bird is shown inmersed in the forest environment. The stripe of light along the breast is a bit distracting and the green leaves at the right of the bird are distracting too. The pose is very good and the eye contact is stunning. Very good job and keep them coming!

I agree with the points raised by Juan, but there is little you could do about the stripe of light. It probably helped greatly with the eye.

Great details and head angle. Adding to the other comments, I would tone down the perch, it looks overexposed. Keep them coming!

sharp and nice colors, there is a hot spot on the perch and also the diagonal highlight in BG is distracting, I'd burn it and blur around a little bit.
