    Default Theme: Civil War Cooking

Took this a few years ago at a local Civil War reenactment. My workflow was as follows: converted to monochrome with hue/saturation layer, applied a tiny bit of gaussian blur, added some noise, added a vignette using inner shadow layer style, and added some scratches using pencil tool.
    Any C&C are welcome!

Hi Christopher. You've really achieved that old print look and feel. Your process was well thought out and I think it has rewarded you well. Nice stuff.

Really looks like a old photo taken during the Civil War.

Christopher, I really like the old look to this image-the addition of scratches with the pen tool is fantastic!! The vignette is just enough. Well done.

Really looks like an old photo Christopher. I might be tempted to crop out the grasses at the bottom of the frame.
