Taking off from a local sewage pond recently. I hope the wing of the female overlapping the male slightly doesn't spoil the image. I have others where that doesn't happen, but overall I felt that this one was the most effective.

Great to get two in the frame. I feel the overlapping is unfortunate but it wouldn't be bad enough to discard the image. There seems to be a loss of definition in the face of the one further back, maybe from oversharpening?
    Very nice exposure and composition.

I like the poses but particularly the head of the bird on the left is quite noisy/oversharpened. You probably could have gotten away with a lower ISO setting.
