    Took this one last fall at green cay as I was heading out of the park. planted the gitzo and popped some shots until he flew away.

    Nice pose and eye contact. Bird and perch seem to have a blue cast and I find that the branch covers a bit too much of the plumage. I might darken the BG a bit.

    Good capture Michael. Axel gave you some good advice but perhaps you could also just try lowering the overall contrast and reducing the level of blue.

    The wing seems to be more in focus than the head, but overall a nice shot. Cheers, Dave.
