    “Princess Blu”

    This pretty lady came to rest after her morning flight. She was painted with a Nikon D200 using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens, with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 765mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / ISO @ 400 /1/1650sec - f/5.6 / exposure comp @ +0.3EV / white balance @ cloudy / AF Mode @ AF–C, dynamic range /color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / no speedlight / support platform - monopod.

    Hi Gus --

    Princess Blu is an absolutely beautiful image. The detail combined with wonderful background colors are so attractive, complemented by the diagonals of the composition. I always look forward to seeing your "paintings" but am reluctant to comment on images because I don't feel competent to do so knowledgeably. But in this case, I couldn't resist. Really great. An inspiration for me.

    Simply amazing! The colors of the BG and dragonfly go together perfectly. Don't believe I've ever seen a blue dragonfly like this one.
