    Nice, I always enjoy images that say more than "I'm a bird". This one does. Not always possible to find, but when you do, they are special in my view.

    For critique, since that is what we are here for. I think cropping could help. There is a lot of extra space that pulls away from the subject. If the full birds were shown, it might fit better, but the head shot would be better cropped in my view.

    However, Happy Easter to you and yours.

    Sorry about the cropping comment above. All the time I was writing the comment, only the heads were showing. I thought something was wrong at first, but it never changed??? : < (

    Now that I see the whole image I like it more.

    What a moment ... and you do seem to have an eye for these things. Concerning the light, I would just shamelessly mess with Mother Nature to draw more attention to the heads and crossed bills.
