An image from the Alan Murphy South Texas workshop a few weeks ago. Similar to the Brown Thrasher we have here , but not as elusive.

Love that perch and this ready for action pose, very nice color and what a great background...

Some might say its too tight by the tail... I say its just right.

Nice perch and great BG. The detail is excellent, especially the eye. This is an outstanding image. If I were to ask for any improvement it would be for a pose that were not quite so static - perhaps a tiny head turn toward you.

Excellent perch and profile. A head turn and some room to the left would have improved this.

Nice shot. I would agree with the head turn, if the bird would cooperate. I like the perch as well. While I would agree that a little room to the left would be nice, I would keep the open space proportions you have. I like to see room for the subject to move. Otherwise it looks very static to me. If you added to the left, I would also increase the right open space area. But nice shot and congratulations.

Tack sharp and nice BG. My only nit on this perch is that the flowered plant looks in rough shape. Now most non descriminating eyes won't notice that so its a fine image!

Lovely light, exposure and details. The BG is great.

    Excellent work!

Lovely pose, nice and sharp, and what a great OOF BG. Well captured.

I don't know if it is not as elusive or that we were just lucky he came in a few times... a fine capture.

Nice and sharp with a great BG. I too, would like a little more room front and back.

I thought I had already commented on this one :)
I love the pose, BG, light, detail, colors and exposure, even the perch is great, still IMO the signature is too big. Congratulations!
