Just got back from a fast one day trip to Cape May and Barnegat Light, after 6 days of golf I needed a break,....lolol..drat cart path only rule...all the birds I wanted to see were around. Thanks Axel, Harlequins and Purple Sandpipers were still near jetty. This particular bird was feeding along the edge, sat down and waited for him to come to me...when he did I was ready.

I'm glad they were still waiting for you. :) I like the eye contact and you can see the slight purple in sunlight only. I would sharpen the bird a bit more.

Thanks Axel...after looking at this crop didn't like it as much, so I changed it, sharpened the bird a bit more..which crop is better?

I like the composition in the repost better, details look good, too.

Your repost works much better with more room at the bottom. Lovely low angle too. Well captured Paul.
