Caught this Osprey just after he had pulled out of a dive after missing a fish. I don't think he was happy! This is definitely a case where the small web image really takes away from the impact IMO. This image NEEDS to be big. It definitely needs some more work, but I'm digging the comp.

Superb head on shot Bob, with great eye contact. He looks like he's coming for you. How are those talons. An outstanding capture.

I like the pose, details and stare and would lighten it a bit, particularly the sky.

Great catch by you, not the osprey. Intense look on its face comes across even in this small jpg. I agree about lightening the sky a touch.
