    Shot this last year at an arborateum in Colonial Park, NJ. I'm noticing in the posting the top of the flower is a bit hotter than my original. This was shot in shade using a flash.
    Nikon D300 200 Macro used 2 side flashes with the SB800 as commander -1 compensation F22

    Nice Composition and choice of a square format. If you processed this in Adobe or Pro color space converting to sRGB for web presentation can result in clipped colors.

    Dave, Nice composition and I love the black BG-really adds alot.

    Nice image, Dave. The top of the flower may look "hotter" but it doesn't really look "hot" on my monitor. It looks good. I really like the way the white plays against the green and black. Nice comp and nice execution.

    Hey Dave, cool petal arrangement, and whites look good on my screen (viewing on my laptop) good details.

    Dave your whites look good to me, too. I also like the comp, the crop and the black BG. The only thing I find even a little bit distracting is the highly saturated greenish tint on the front petal (the one draping over the leaves.)
